Agenda

Day 1: 6 September

  • 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. SGT

Swimming in sensors, drowning in data: Connecting geospatial data to the world of defence operations

by Wim Symens, sales director for Hexagon in APAC, and Tack Ching Chan, presales specialist for Hexagon in APAC

In an integrated operating environment, intelligence data comes from a multitude of sources. Due to the volume, variety and velocity of data creation in operational environments, defence organizations are flooded with big data. It has become nearly impossible for operators to quickly consume the latest available data and extract valuable insights, and this reality makes informed decision-making and real-time situational awareness hard to achieve in mission-critical operations.

In this session, we will discuss how Hexagon technologies bridge the gap between geospatial data and operations, allowing separate groups to work seamlessly together with the most up-to-date data to ensure mission success.

  • 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. SGT

How asset management, BIM and digital twins can benefit the rail industry

by Dr. Uwe Jasnoch, global vice president of business development and director of presales for Hexagon in APAC

Asset management is crucial for a huge number of business processes within rail operations. Building information modeling data is key to new investments in infrastructure, and digital twins are perfect for breaking down data silos and generating new insights. To streamline rail processes and improve operations, it is critical for all of these technologies to work together.

In this session, our experts will provide insights into these concepts and processes, starting with sensor data acquisition and ending with leading-edge visualization.

  • 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. SGT

Being more agile and resilient through unprecedented change in public safety

by Kevin Mason, presales architect of Public Safety for Hexagon in APAC

Now more than ever, public safety agencies need to be prepared and vigilant about the future. They need to be equipped with tools and innovations to tackle whatever challenges they face. And that means improving public safety services in the face of unprecedented change, providing seamless, 24/7 access to whatever data is needed or ensuring reliable connections throughout entire ecosystems.

Join this session to learn how the Hexagon OnCall portfolio helps public safety agencies of all sizes be more agile and resilient through modernized capabilities spanning call-taking and dispatch, records, analytics, major event management, and mobility.

Day 2: 9 September

  • 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. SGT

HxGN Connect: Reimagining collaboration to solve organizations' challenges

by Kevin Mason, presales architect for Hexagon in APAC

In today’s world of instantaneous connection with others from around the globe, it would be nearly impossible to shut yourself off from the outside world. While the ways and means of digital communication have grown exponentially, governments and their partners have been slow to catch up.

In this session, we will show you how to reimagine collaboration for individual organizations, within cities and across regions by securely sharing the data you want others to see and actively collaborating with others as events unfold.

  • 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. SGT

    M.App Enterprise in action

by Nimas Anggarini, presales specialist for Hexagon in APAC

One of the big challenges we face in the era of big data is the data deluge coming from the multitude of data sources. Now we have multiple sensors, cameras, satellites, UAVs, phones, and more that generate data at much faster rate than ever. With massive amounts of location data being generated every minute, it can be hard to not only determine what is operationally relevant, but also access relevant data when it is produced for analysis and action.

In this session, we will show how Hexagon incorporates location intelligence into enterprise systems and workflows to create new insights and actionable information by combining various types of data — dynamic, static, 2D, 3D, IoT, sensors — all into one platform to visualize and analyze everything in unison.

Day 3: 13 September

  • 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. SGT

The road to vision zero — are we on track?

by Dr. Uwe Jasnoch, global vice president of business development and director of presales for Hexagon in APAC, and David Dennis, sales director of public safety for Hexagon in APAC

On the roads and across the railway, transport safety management is a top priority for state and local governments. Several agencies worldwide have adopted Vision Zero principles to eliminate fatalities and severe injuries on their road and rail infrastructure. Digitalization is one strategy for achieving that goal. Automating manual procedures and transforming processes into digital, connected, and intelligent systems improves safety and operations.

This session will discuss how digital transformation can help transportation agencies down the road to Vision Zero.

  • 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. SGT

Artificial intelligence in action: How businesses benefit from new technologies

by Dr. Uwe Jasnoch, global vice president of business development and director of presales for Hexagon in APAC, and Kevin Mason, presales architect for Hexagon in APAC

AI is one of the most important concepts in the current technological landscape. It can provide useful insights, support automation and predict meaningful outcomes for organizations that use it. It's time to demystify the technology by showing concrete examples of how AI enables automation and prediction. Used wisely, it gives useful insights and suggestions in an assistive manner, which provides excellent support in a range of daily operations, from advising in public safety agencies to powering imagery analytics.

This session will contextualize AI by providing real-world use cases that illustrate its operational and organizational value.

  • 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. SGT
