The amount of geospatial data available from sensors is growing at an ever-increasing rate. Data quickly becomes stale when new, updated data arrives every hour. With more sensors, and more precise sensors, the key challenge is to reduce the time it takes for data to travel from sensor to user. While data management is extremely important, it does not necessarily have to take a long time to do well.
